BARBARA HEPWORTH

1972 & 1974 ART EXHIBIT CATALOGS

Well Illustrated Throughout

With Full-Color Fold-Out Plates

BOOK DESCRIPTION...We are pleased to offer these two vintage art exhibition catalogs of BARBARA HEPWORTH from 1972 and 1974.

Barabara Hepworth (1903-1975) was a British sculptor, widely considered one of the most significant artists of the 20th Century. Her work exemplifies Modernism and along with her contemporaries in England such as Ivon Hitchens, Henry Moore, Ben Nicholson, Naum Gabo and others, she helped to develop modern art (sculpture in particular) immeasurably. These two fantastic catalogs are a record and reference guide to just about all the sculpture and carvings she produced in the last 3-4 years of her life before tragically dying in a fire at her studio in 1975.
