In the December 28, 1953 issue of Life magazine, there is an illustrated article on the Original Drawings of the Wizard of Oz by W. W. Denslow, 1900 first edition. This original lithograph poster was undoubtedly used to herald the issue. That issue of the magazine is sort of hard to find, but not impossible. (It has a religious picture cover for the article "Four Great Protestant and Catholic Churches.") This 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" advertising lithograph poster definitely IS hard to find. Very few of them are still in existence and it is amazing I found another one! Poster has some edge and corner wear/chipping but is still in VERY GOOD condition. Great for Wizard of Oz and Denslow collectors.
