1827 PRINTED BY GALES & SEATON WASHINGTON
String-bound 24 pages including 22 FOLDOUT TABLES
Document of statistical tables of Passengers Arriving in the United States from foreign ports between October 1, 1825 through September 30, 1826. Passengers are listed by Occupations, not by name. Gives an interesting overview of just what type of people were emigrating into the U. S. at the time. Many were farmers, although there are many, many occupations listed. A couple of the tables selected randomly for the sample photos for reference. A somewhat scarce document. Document may once have been part of a bound volume, is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and in Very Good condition.
